Why I Designed The 911 Grab-n-Go Bag
During my late husband's declining health, there were frequent ambulance calls. I often found myself scrambling for medications and vital information during the worst possible moments. I needed a better way to keep everything organized and accessible.
Drawing on my background in fashion design and product development, I created a bag that keeps essential medical details in one place so when the EMTs arrived, I could just hand them the Medical Information sheet with all of the relevant information they'd need to treat him with efficiency and with informed information.
When my husband was transported by ambulance to the ER, all information on this sheet went with the EMTS and they could, in turn, hand over to the medical staff in the emergency room.
I also learned that many hospitals require Power of Attorney documentation and other important information such as insurance cards, any recent lab information, and much more.
The 911 Grab-n-Go bag also helped any caregivers I hired (while working full-time), making appointments smoother and ensuring they always had the latest updates on his medications, conditions, and allergies. No guessing.
What began as a personal solution to get better organized during an illness, the 911 Grab-n-Go bag is now a tool to help others stay prepared and less stressed during medical emergencies.
Thank you for purchasing this product! I'm sure it will be a helpful "tool" in case you need to "Be Prepared for a Medical Emergency."
